Counseling
Our counseling sessions would include, but not be limited to counseling sessions for grief therapy, pre-marital, family, couples, inter-personal conflict, blended families, self enhancement and personal healing, abortion, and female spouse with husband’s pornography issues.
Counseling deals with the past, present, and potentially future issues that have surfaced and need deep biblical focus in order to acquire a balance within one’s life. All counseling is scheduled with Linda Penn, who offers two convenient locations, and in Home Sessions to assist her Clients
Persons seeking services will be offered on a sliding scale for payment options where appropriate. Some services will be free (Healing Journey) but require a commitment for success.
We partner with In His Name Outreach to meet your counseling needs.
Session Fees:
- Initial Visit: $40 @hr (usually 1 1/2 hours)
- Individual: $40 @hr (usually 1 hour)
- Couples: $50 @hr (usually 1 to 1 1/2 hour)
- Home visits: additional $20 travel charge
There is no set up fee or hidden costs. Many times a few sessions is all you need to help you through the difficult circumstances or decisions facing you!
These are reasonable rates so you can’t afford not to have help through a difficult time in your life.
Outcomes:
The way we will measure the effectiveness and success of these areas is by the following sets of criteria:
- A comprehensive assessment
- Regular attendance (90% in a six month period)
- Individual assessments
- Progress assessments (following each counseling session)
- Referrals for persons demonstrating psychotic and/or neurotic behaviors, or behaviors requiring medication to cope with circumstances
- Referrals when other qualified people are needed for clients progress
